Balboa Park Benches

San Diego, CA
Reclaimed Eucalyptus.

Public space, long-term impact.

This project brought reclaimed Balboa Park Eucalyptus back into the same environment it came from. Working alongside architects and park personnel, we hand-selected logs directly from the Balboa Park yard and collaborated closely with the design team to bring the benches to life.

The process required alignment between design, material, and public use.

The final result reflects that balance—functional seating built from wood that already belonged to the space.

Beyond the physical outcome, this project marked a deeper shift toward integrating reclaimed materials into civic design.
