The Children’s Park benches project marked more than just a build—it introduced a new approach. While we produced Eucalyptus benches for the space, the real impact came from working with the civil engineer to formally include tree reclamation practices in the project.

Although not all on-site trees could be used for furniture, this became the first instance where reclamation was written into planning.

That shift creates long-term potential for how urban wood is handled across future developments.

Beyond the physical outcome, this project marked a deeper shift toward integrating reclaimed materials into civic design.
